What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a training program that builds strength and conditioning through extremely varied and challenging workouts.  Each day the workout will test a different part of your functional strength or conditioning,  not specialising in one particular thing, but rather with the goal of  building a body that’s capable of practically anything and everything. Watch this video to find out more, and read below for details about our classes and how to book them.

Most sessions focus on skills and strength exercises followed by a workout of the day (WOD). The sessions typically follow a Warm Up > Skill/Strength>WOD format but may differ some days. One thing you are guaranteed is you'll sweat!

Rowing is a great way to improve overall  fitness. For those with our Open Gym membership the rower is a great tool to fill the gaps. Maybe it's a 2000m time trial, a 1 minute max effort or even a marathon. Ensure your technique is right and you are getting the most  from the rower. Each session you will get a rower to yourself. We will work on various drills and accessory exercises. Can you get on the  sub-7min 2000m on the board?
